The two of us (Ty, Drew) were talking it over yesterday and we came to the conclusion that we have the largest scooter repair shop in Orange County. I don't think we ever thought of ourselves being in that position. Not to say we are BIG in any way, we are a niche store and have that underdog mentality. But sometimes small can be big. Considering that all of the large dealers have gone under or on their way out, the local shop means so much more. I think people seem to be receptive to what we have to offer at the Scooter Solution. I know we have customers for life and that makes us smile. Because we have so much personally invested in the business we have everything to loose. The adage “The customer is always right.” is definitely engrained in our daily operation. While we are not perfect, we do try our best. We spend hours on the phone throughout the week giving advise, answering technical questions, and helping little old ladies find a store that can sell them “mobility chairs” (we get that often). Much of the time it will never translate into money exchanging hands, but we like helping people and positive word of mouth is never harmful.

More times than I can count we send customers to competitors stores because we know they sell something that fits perfectly with what they are looking for. This is because we want only happy customers. We don't belie in selling people on whats best for us. We like competition, anyone who offers something positive to the consumer (whatever it may be) deserves to do business and we enjoy the company. The crooks and snakes don't stay hidden for long and people catch on by themselves. Insulting someone else would just make us look petty.

Ty started the business because his own experience in purchasing his first scooter was rocky. In the end he was left wondering why there wasn't a better experience. I'd like to think he solved all of the shortcomings he experienced back in 2008 from dealers who no longer exist.

To our customers who go out of their way to do nice things for us. We THANK YOU! -Drew
